FAQ
PTFE Bellows — FAQs
What are PTFE bellows used for?+
PTFE bellows are flexible expansion joints for industrial piping. They absorb thermal movement, vibration and misalignment while resisting aggressive chemicals, protecting pumps, valves and flanges from stress in chemical, pharmaceutical and processing lines.
What temperature range do PTFE bellows handle?+
PTFE bellows operate reliably across a wide temperature range without embrittlement, typically from sub-zero temperatures up to around 200–260°C depending on grade and pressure, making them suitable for demanding process conditions.
Can PTFE bellows be made to custom sizes?+
Yes. We manufacture PTFE bellows in custom diameters, lengths and convolution counts to match your movement and flange requirements. Share your specification and we will engineer a bellows for your line.
